I love a goofy picture

I love goofy pictures...really I guess I love all kinds of pictures. But someone willing to commit to goofiness for posterity? My hat goes off to them. It takes guts to be willing to take the goofy pic and then trust someone with the goofy pic. Now, some of the following pictures were not posed goofy pics. The stolen moment goofy pic is different from the posed. Stolen goofiness is still enjoyable, it just doesn't take guts since you have no idea someone is capturing your goofiness. Certain people in the fam are always willing to go the extra mile for goofiness' sake.

And I will continue to applaud them for it.

Addy choosing to not get along with her fellow animals that are not her ancestors. Addy is goofy all the time. She's just lucky her family loves her goofiness. In just the last few minutes today she grabbed the green pillow FOR THE THOUSANDTH time and took off with it running for the living room. She is as goofy as they come....and we love it.


This photo may not so much be in the goofy category as the look of skepticism going on here on Caitlin's face. But it's still enjoyable to me. Olivia literally turned her back on goofy.


You gotta love goofy and the people in the background that are witnessing the goofy. Jared in the background is clearly assessing that Caitlin is being goofy.


This one deserved a closeup.


Poor Maisy. Was she told to sit IMMEDIATELY as if playing musical chairs? Whatever the reason for her sitting in such a strange position, she looks more out of sorts than goofy. But I felt it fit the category.

Is it goofy that Maggie seems to be doing a Dr. Pepper commercial? I think not. It's totally worth a commercial!


This is a hall of fame goofy picture. Who knew Maggie had a tail. GOOFY!


Carlie has been good for many a goofy picture over the years. She puts her life on the line for strange pictures when the camera comes out. Well done Carlie....well done. Here she is quite unsure of the alliance that the off screen person is trying to forge.


And now we see who the off screen hammy person was. Carlie was apparently getting in the middle of Mollie's photo op. NEVER come between a ham and a camera. You could lose an appendage.


Historically, it's possible Billie June has taken more goofy pictures than any other human being on earth. It's as if she waits just one millisecond before the photographer takes the photo and then she goes buck wild crazy trying to get goofy. This type of goofiness can be annoying.


Here Whitney looks unsure about committing to goofiness and clearly Maggie in the background doesn't believe Whitney has the fortitude to actually achieve it.


Sticking the tongue out is classically juveniley (yes it's a word because I just used it in this sentence) goofy.


Once again Carlie bookends the photos quite nicely by committing to the moment with an on purpose goofy look. This is what I mean when I say she goes the extra mile. And because of her commitment, she wins the non-existent prize.
