There are some snaps and then there's some not snaps

I've done something. I'll tell you about it in a minute.

Summer's coming and the goose is getting fat. Wait...Summer's coming and my family has yet to pick a destination for a family vacation. It's a concern. After looking at the calendar there's only one possible week for all six of us to go anywhere and that's not until August. No idea what's gonna happen. It's like my own little vacation cliff hanger. I'll report back if there are any new developments.

Newsflash: I'm now 58 years old and I don't know how that happened. It's nuts. At this point in my life I have to come to grips with the fact that my age and my maturity level will never be equal in any manner. After giving it three seconds thought....I'm OK with that. Also, I'm having THE most difficult time writing at this juncture in my life. The struggle is real.

Now I'm gonna tell you what I've done and the protocol I've breached.

Before Emma left to go back to DC, she needed some pictures taken off her work computer and put onto my huge, mega large external hard drive. There were at least 10,000 photos that needed to be moved and deleted and I spent all night and then into the wee hours of the morning Monday/Tuesday moving the pics and deleting them from the computer.

In that large number of pictures, I saw many I thought worthy of borrowing or relocating or....what's that other word I can't seem to bring to my mind? But can you really steal an image? I won't ask the Amish that question. I just looked that up to confirm about Amish and photos. They don't believe photos take anything from you, they believe photos are a graven image. I just looked up the definition of graven image and I don't agree with the Amish. Graven image is...a carved idol or representation of a god used as an object of worship. Nope, I don't worship any photos. I just enjoy a really good picture of something lovely, be it a human being, an animal, a flower or many other things random. This post has taken a turn....

Anyway, I chose to borrow some pictures from Emma's pictures and some are snaps and some are just pics I loved seeing. So come along with me down the path of looking at other people's pics and as long as you don't worship any or carve one into an idol, I think you'll be fine.

Jesus take the wheel please.

Lets get started...

This is the weirdest picture of the Beebs. The other night James told Olivia in as deep a voice as a three year old can muster, "You're the Beebs." It was so funny.
Maggie needing a shave is just not right.
There's a 58 year old weirdo.
Howdy partner.
I want this filter to come back.
No worries about ever going back to Gap Beba.
Beba was busy playing with filters at Gap.
These next two infant babies are unidentifiable to me. Maybe Anna is my guess.
Yep, I'm going with Anna.
Jack in the jungle.
This is what one of my kids does in church. Jesus saves and forgives.
But super cute looking!
This is weird.
This is weirder.
Filters can make a bad day better.
Then I found these next two pics (that aren't snaps) on Emma's work computer! Last summer Emma was able to take us out onto the speaker's balcony when we were taking our capitol tour in DC. I was very sad because I didn't think we got a family pic, but we did so now I'm relieved and happy.
No idea who took this. I do remember a lady standing near the door to go outside, I guess she was the keeper of the speaker's door. I think I would've remembered if Paul Ryan had taken this pic, so I guess it was the keeper of the door lady.
We made it to that spot before Donald Trump. Ain't that something?
I don't think these two girls need to spend much time alone and together. I need some explanations explained.
The long straws are disturbing. To where do they go? Is there a very large drink nearby?
Super cute non snapped pic.
I don't think these two can be trusted.
Maybe not these either.
She's so dainty.
This pic and the next one may put me back in the witness protection program.
Back atcha girlie.
She never told me who she voted for.
These are old because we saw none of this white stuff in our last winter.
She may be the only dog I know that consistently has closed eye pics.
Look at those cute girls.
Very interesting....
Seriously adorable but not to be trusted.
Lake Erie pic.
This is very funny.
I'm just sayin....
Hashtag no trust.
The original blue hair.
This made me laugh out loud.
She doesn't appreciate the jingle horns.
Santa is that you?
I suspect there was some strife just before this.
I've never been accused of speed reading anything. Here's a thing about me. I love a photo of words written on a page. It's somehow enchanting to me.
I suspect the strife causer and I also suspect this was a self portrait.
This is why we hate January.
Don't know who or what was bugging who or what.
DC Mardi Gras means, get your party on.
Cute.
This cute picture amuses me greatly. Historic DC Blizzard + Louisiana people = very cold southerners.
No idea where these people are in this photo.
Alien Addy.
Fly girl Addy.
Sheep face Addy? So weird.
Tropical Addy.
That's this week's installment of stolen snaps/photos.

I've continued the pretense of posting this on Thursday when if fact it never posts until Friday. I don't know how to fix that. I put off doing this til the last minute and then I'm scrambling to get it posted on time.

But as I said I'm really struggling with writing these days. It's like I can almost grasp it for two seconds and I can see it, but then I can't get it on the computer. It's really frustrating.

But I've plowed through the concrete to get this finished, so now I'm off to bed on an early Friday morning even though this is going to post on Thursday.

Happy Friday to all and to all a goodnight.
