Silly girl plus one

Found these pics of Maggie and Caitlin while perusing my photo files. Not sure if I've posted them before but if I did, they're worth a repost. They crack me up. This was from our last trip to North Carolina while they were at the helm. Clearly Maggie was bored which makes for my enjoyment because these pics make me laugh. And even though Caitlin was driving, and because her focus was on the road, she seemed unaware of what Maggie was doing.

Take a look.

The last pic sums up the photo shoot of the two goobers.

It's a good bookend.

Girls's Dallas trip was good. Had an unexpected visitor while we were there which was fun. Me and Owen are spring breaking it this week and we've been wild and crazy. Eating popcorn and watching TV. I'm talking CRAZY!. The rest of the fam will be spring breaking it next week. Schools and people need to coordinate spring breaks! I'd be heading west to Corsicana if they did. But since it's stupid, I'm not. Texas will have to wait til the end of May and that's sad since bluebonnets will be gone by then. Sigh.....maybe next year.

Just about time to slumber.

Party on Garth.

Some more favorites of mine

Here are the pictures I was gonna post in the other post but then something happened. Some of these pictures were on my phone and some I've loved for a long time and some I have no idea how they came to live with me. I'm just glad they did. Take a look.

This picture of Meredith was taken by her grandfather and I've loved it for over thirty years. It's a treasure.
This is a picture of William probably taken by Lindsey, but it reminds me of the picture of Meredith. It's a new treasure.
This is the picture of John and Owen I've been looking for forever! Or just a few weeks! Pretty sure Becky took it.  I'm so glad I found it right under my nose after I'd looked and looked. They were at Dallas Cowboys stadium watching UNC play the Texas Longhorns in basketball.
The close up.
Whitney and her brand new pup Otis when she came by to introduce him to us.
Addy back in the day when she was a sweet little pupper. She's so cute she almost looks fake.
The next two pictures I have to say are hall of famers. Not because they're so amazing, just because of the people in them.
Some photos make me happy and some make me melancholy and some make me wishful and some just make me sigh. This one makes me sigh.
These next two make me laugh and realize that somehow households with dogs are all the same.
But different.
No idea and I know it's blurry but......... WHAT?
This reminds me of a clown car. We were going to a movie...no idea what...and we couldn't get in, so we bought tickets for a later movie and had to look for things to do in order to kill some time and ended up at Brookshires (I think) and then went to the movie. The grocery store part of the night is an example of wild and crazy people out on the town.
This is what SOME of my people (Emma and Caitlin) would do at Owen's baseball games back in the day. Maggie, in the background, looks a little spicious.
This is a super cute pic of Lindsey and Caitlin who I think were in Dallas to attend the play Wicked.
I love this Corsicana advertisement picture. It's perf. The relaxing...the blankie.... How about...Corsicana Texas, where rest and relaxation live all the time. That pretty much blows, but I'm not in advertising.
I love this picture of the too small boy, whose so too small he's cocked over to the side in order to reach the pedal of the mower. He's got some super smart parents.
This was on a day when seven snow flakes fell and the girls had to go outside to document all of them.
And a solo Emma.
Cute star gazing kids while we were decorating outdoors for Christmas.
This was the night of the greatest snow of our lives. It was so amazingly brilliant with 6 recorded inches. Good times.
Olivia has a dream or smells something weird.
Big Frank and Grandma at communion on Christmas Eve. I know I've posted it before.
Maggie looking smashing in her riding outfit!
One of Carlie's babysitting buds looking too cool in his shades.
Grandma Bessie babysitting Olivia. The timer she's holding indicates she was cooking something delicious in her kitchen. Sigh....
Maggie with puppies. Delightful.
This is old school. Jared with John showing off the catfish he caught. Pretty sure he took the fish over to see if it was bigger than Jared, because when our kids were small John would say to them, "You're still smaller than the biggest fish I've caught." He can't say that anymore. In this photo, Jared's just a tad bigger than the fish. And as I was working on this John came over to tell me goodnight and saw this pic and said, "That's a big ole catfish." OMG.
Storm brewing in the distance.
Love this picture of Gran. Sigh again.
Marlie doing what she does best.
Carrie's asking, "Would you please let me in? I need some Miracle Whip! Old commercial. Old joke.
Olivia took this picture of Big Frank in his high school yearbook photo when she went to the Corsicana library.
William, sneaking up on Ellie, and Emma mesmerized by the TV.
Addy contemplating life and Chemistry.
A pre-crawling William.
This picture, taken by Emma, of the blue eyed boy is fantastic.
I took this last fall in Dallas. Huge tootsies! Filled with normal sized tootsies.
This picture of Nanook of the North just makes me happy.
More sighing.
Caitlin's face cracks me up and this proves Carlie's been making "camera faces" all of her life.
Love this on Emma's grad party day.
No idea but it makes me laugh.
Even with an unsure Olivia, I love this pic.
Love purple crape myrtles.
And this one.
Olivia's king of the cut down tree from Grandma's driveway.
Don't know where or when.
This one either, but it makes me laugh.
Took it. Corsicana. Love.
This was during our shooting of Olivia's senior video.
Another Addy when she was good.
Found these pictures I'd never posted from our football watching days.
It was freezing cold!
But we had fun.....if we won.
This place is what dreams are made of.
And there's no better place to nap than right there, in that lap. Dale brought this pic by for me to scan a couple months ago. Can't replace a treasure like this.
And so ends another post of old photo finds. Send me your old scanned or phone photos people! I love them so much! I'm not sure there's anything better than good photographs. I've seen some really bad ones recently and it only reiterated to me how much I love good pictures of people I love. And even though a picture of Gran or Bessie or Frank or Dad can make me sigh and wish for one more conversation with them, I still ALWAYS smile when I see their faces. Frozen in time and memory. Pictures may be my all time favorite thing in the world.

Now I'm off to bed so I can be motoring to Dallas for girls trip in the morning....or later today.

Due to Spring break beginning Friday, I may not come back til next weekend!

Party on Wayne.
