Me and my kiddos

My kids and I were in Corsicana helping with Bessie when this picture was taken. Although those days were sometimes very difficult, I learned alot and I know my kids did. I watched Gran serve Bessie tirelessly trying to preserve as much of her dignity as possible. And sometimes there was a certain amount of frustration......but even in the midst of it all, there were some sweet and tender and funny experiences that I recall.
