Christmas movies and puzzles

Today was a delightful slow rainy day. The girls and I started the 1000 piece Texas puzzle last night and finished it before we went to bed. It is the best 20 bucks Becky ever spent. The kids have done that puzzle at least 20 times and they have it down to a fine art. Emma is a puzzle beast and might be able to do the whole thing by herself in 4 hours flat. And so we are starting on puzzle number 3 right now. Christmas movies watched so far this season: Holiday Inn 2 times, White Christmas as I write for the second time and A Christmas Carol. We still have to watch It's a Wonderful Life, Desk Set and Christmas Vacation. We need to get busy because this time in 2 weeks, it will be over and summer will be on its way and Olivia will be graduating. Yikes! It's unbelievable how quickly time is moving. I can get a little panicked if I let myself think about it. But for today it was enjoyable and a future memory I will look back on fondly.
