Christmas pups

This year Olivia had Maggie for Christmas, and while we were in Dallas last fall she found the most magnificent gag gift to give Maggie for Maya. It was a banana suit. Yes a banana suit. We were very excited to find such a find and we knew Maya would be incensed at being dressed as a piece of fruit. Well, something terrible happened. I don't know how or why or where....but after we got home from that trip, we lost the banana suit, as well as a brand new pair of shoes of Carrie's that accidentally got mixed with our stuff. For weeks we searched high and low for that darn thing but to no avail. Now that I think about it, Maya may have been the one that sneaked over, found it and destroyed it so as not to bring shame on her own head.

Well in desperation Olivia and I were determined to find something Maya would hate and not long before Christmas, we found just a small something something to make her mad. Have a look. You can tell by her face she's not happy to be degraded in such a manner. We however enjoyed it immensely. I'm happy to report she hasn't gotten us back.....yet.

She's not believing what's happening. She's thinking if only she wasn't so little and therefore able to be picked up at random, she wouldn't have to suffer the indignity of being dressed in clothes and hat.


But isn't she adorable?


She looks as if she almost made a lunge to get away but alas Carlie got her before she made her leap.


She knows she's done for.


Marley, who saw the whole fashion show knew what was coming next.
