If it's March, there's madness again

Well peeps I have some news. I'm leaving town on Friday for 10 days and next week's snap post may be in jeopardy because of that. The trip will start in Dallas with wifi and all the fun that goes along with it, but the second leg of the trip will be to Corsicana and that's where wifi does not live. At least at our place. So unless I get two posts finished before we leave town, next week's will not happen. I'll see how much I get done before I have to think of something else to do so as to put this off for a bit. Procrastination is my middle name. Well, Lisa is my middle name, but procrastination is where I live. I don't even know what that means, but I said it anyway.

Well, I successfully found something to distract myself for almost one hour. Back tomorrow to try to get this done!

It's 1:08 p.m. on Thursday and I've frittered the morning away. Well done me! In other news, I have none. I have lots of people I'm related to doing many things, but I think it's silly to tell it all here when it's not my bidness.

When last here I mentioned the madness surrounding my people about March. I even filled out a bracket. I was on a roll and then the bottom fell out. Duke, chosen by me to go to the championship, lost and now all my eggs are in the UNC bracket.

What I've discovered over this last week is it's probably not great for me to have a bracket for the NCAA tourney because I ended up with HUGE animosity towards teams that lost, ruined my bracket and didn't live up to the potential I placed in them.

For instance last weekend when Vanderbilt lost I said, "That's it! I'll never root for them again!!" I now have a long list of teams I will be forever against and look at with disdain. They include...Maryland, Duke, Marquette and Louisville. There are a few others. My bracket is currently in 9th place out of 39, so that's not bad, but it ain't good either. If it stays the same, I'll be the ninth loser. It's unacceptable.

Update: It's 1:00 in the morning and I just got back to the computer. After the sweet sixteen began tonight. I've got knocked out of the top 10 in the bracket. Hashtag fail. I now have another team I shant ever root for again. Wait a second and let me go see who it is....after checking again, it's actually Oregon who I couldn't stand before this anyway. I picked Louisville who got beat by Michigan who got beat by Oregon tonight. I can't stand any of the west coast teams. All those state place holders on the Pacific Ocean is who I'm talking about.

Moving on to this week's snaps. There are certain girls in the family who begin March Madness on Thursday morning and stick with it until Sunday night. This year baby Blake's arrival changed up their day a bit, but they managed to be on hand for the birth and then rush to their TV and still have plenty of game watching.

Disclaimer: They hold no animosity towards Blake or her parents.

Lets get to the snaps...
This day is huge for the basketball peeps in our family.
This is a mean girl message from Carlie to me. I resent it to my core being. She is referring to my winning the bracket and being a MILLIONAIRE! Ok, really just a hundred fifty dollanaire. But still. Rude.
This is her attitude face after I sent her a snap video of me telling her I was a visionary because my bracket had the final being between Duke and UNC.
Then I got a Minnie Mouse voice dressing down about how wrong I was with my choice. Someone IS wrong, I'm not saying who. I'M NOT SAYING IT!
Someone's gonna have some wine and some bball. The names aren't always on here and sometimes the snaps are unrecognizable.
This is a Beba snap. She really believes it's the best day ever.
This is Carlie, she did all those things. Well, I can't confirm the shower.
This birthing room snap is relevant to basketball because it was on the first day of the tourney. I think this is a Mollie snap.
Yes we've heard this before. Maybe Carlie's? Not sure.
I recognize Carlie's giddy bitmoji .
I recognize that cookie as Caitlin's, so I'm going with the Kit Kat snap.
I know that dog, so I know this is Mags.
The girls are on their way to get William from school so he could enjoy some bball with his peeps.
This is not true. It's not true NSA.
He actually hit his head on a doorknob and had a moment of sadness, but a cookie and basketball was his medicine.
He has become one of them.
And they've sucked him into their foodie fold as well.
Hello! Ice cream is always a yes.
Church and lunch and back at it on Sunday.
Ninety nine percent of this post is courtesy of Carlie Rebecca. If she had not played the game, (HEY!) this post would not have happened.

I'm gonna tell the truth and say that this Snap Thursday will be brought to you by the day that is Friday. But with my magic skills, it will SAY Thursday. I don't even feel bad.

I am now going to bed without having another snap post even started for next week. And tomorrow is a full day for me.

This is a sort of cliffhanger that will be resolved only on Thursday of next week. Will there be a post or won't there?

Cliff....hanger

I'm off to bed now, but not before I post this picture of a tiny little girl in a big ole bed.

She's got lots of room to spread.
That's it for me.

Texas is west and that's where I'm going.
