Easter 2014

Today was a glorious outside day with much work done in our backyard trying to reclaim it from Winter. We made progress. Of course tomorrow is Easter and since it's been thirty minutes since Easter 2014, I never posted the pictures from last year. So guess what we're gonna do in this post? Really it's quite timely in case you don't remember what you were wearing. I sort of had in my mind what I was gonna wear tomorrow and after seeing these pictures, realized it's the same outfit from last Easter! Scandal! 

Looking back at these pictures reminds me we had two brand new babies and we were all together for the weekend. It was a fun time which included Lucas' dedication at church and then outside pictures and lunch at the Turners. This year there'll be a skeleton crew, but even so that's still 20 people. But, those who aren't here will be missed. 

The forecast is rain....boo to a rainy Easter. Last Easter was sunny and beautiful. I'll take another one like that please.

Nor does James. From the looks of this picture, William seems to have recently watched the movie The Sting. It's a finger next to...but not in...the nose...reference I was going for. But if you've never seen the movie, it's useless. Hrmph.

And that's last year in a nut shell. It's now officially Easter 2015 since it has passed midnight before I completed this post. Happy Easter to all and remember the reason for Easter. 

Remember the sacrifice.
