My official 2011 favorite fall tree.

I've been wanting to take some pictures of fall leaves in the late afternoon sun. Since I now get off work after dark, it seemed highly unlikely. Well, we had a storm night before last and the power was out at my place of work all day which gave me the chance to take my pictures. Just the day before I'd been saying I was bummed that I wasn't going to be able to, and then the very next day it worked out that I was able to. Coincidence? I don't think so. Someone sent me a love note.

It made me smile.
