Reception fun

Fall has fallen and the weather is fab and life is moving quickly since we are almost to November! And the next wedding is just two weeks away! And I have to get the last wedding posted before the next wedding can come! I've exclaimed a lot!

Moving on.....

Lots of stuff is happening and not all of it is good, and as the future remains as uncertain as ever I could so freak out right now. (Friends quote acknowledged.) BUT Olivia just came home early from school again because her teacher, and Whitney's favorite person in the whole wide world, lets them out as if class is just a suggestion and not a requirement. It makes me nuts. Especially knowing the current issues at the university. BUT. She and I were sitting here talking and she was reminding me that she and Caitlin are going to a lecture by Ben and Jerry, the ice cream people, at the university this afternoon. Then I told her not to let their liberal get on them. And she said,"Mom, I'm the last of your children that would turn out to be a liberal....but maybe the first one to be a felon." I had to write it down because I thought it so funny, but also hope it doesn't turn out to be true.

I have many photos to post but my motivation for almost anything is just not there. We'll see if it improves in the next few days, but a sabbatical is not out of the question. Life needs to get more interesting quickly to make this blog spicy.

Take a gander at the reception pics from the Lauren and Austin's wedding.

The O and the G.
And the close up.
Pretty flowers.
Carlie?  Always trying to make sure a photo is perf.
It was Emma's turn here.
Everyone's in good form here.
So I just put them all on here.
Carlie with the closed eyes and Lindsey got distracted.
That's just a lot of beautiful girls.
The Billie with her girls.
Plus the boy
Once more.
Lin and O.
Carlie's doing something.
As always.
The bridal party.
Chug a lug.
Getting ready to toast.
It was a bottle of champagne the bride's parents bought when she was little and they saved it for her wedding day. They said is wasn't good.
But a sentimental idea.
Cutting the yummy cake.
Always a boy.
Worth a repost of the bride and groom.
And this one.
The bride and groom with all the aunties.
Sissies in law.
Mom with the boy all grown up and married.
The kids with Papaw. William's AWOL.
One more wedding in the books for these two.
The groom with the Gmaw.
Once more.
Oh the cell phone...we used almost all of our data package with most of our month ahead of us. If I could add a smiley here, It's be the one with the hands on face with open mouth.
I guess I could have edited that flower out of the pic, but it's too late now.
Cute pic.
The boy with some aunties.
Why do I look blurry?
Took the opportunity to get some pics with the boy.
Whitney's always so restrained.
Cute picture of the leaners. I think Carlie asked if they were on a boat. Pretty funny.
Carlie do you have a caption for this photo?
The W and the B.
And the happy couple was sent off into the night by the light of sparklers. Great picture by Carlie.
I have one more Lafayette post to do.

But I gots to get ready to go herd the kiddies for a couple of hours.

Have a nice rest of the day peeps.

hahahhaha Olivia!!!! no felony better be in your future!!! Cute post. The champagne was actually given to Lauren by her late grandmother on her Christening Day!! Since your blog is our family history I thought it might be good to make sure the history is correct. Insert smiley face with a wink!!!
