Another graduation day

Today Whitney will graduate with a Masters degree and Carlie will graduate with a Bachelor's degree. Those are some good degrees. There's much left to do in each of their lives, but there are no more papers to write, no more Math or Science to learn, and no more tests to take. So what's next? Not exactly sure but it's gonna be great. Carlie says there are 757 people graduating today so that means there are 757 different stories and hopes and dreams and expectations of what life will be like. It can be very unsettling to have no idea what the future holds, but as a college graduate, it's really more exciting than anything. What job to take? Where to move? But I want to stay close to family. It's all part of the process of growing up. And great decisions as well as mistakes will be made, but, again it's part of the process. Thank goodness God doesn't have a big scorecard up in heaven to check off when we make either. It's not about that. It's about trusting Him with your whole heart all the days of your life and knowing He wants nothing but the greatest and best for each of us. There will be romances and marriages and children and jobs and houses and vacations and all those things add up to many lovely memories made over a lifetime.

And congratulations to Courtney as well who also will be receiving her Masters degree but Miss Smarty Pants will be going on for a PhD as well........jealous!!!!

I am revisiting an old family email to prove a point. The first email is from May 15, 2010 and the second is from September 2007. The first email just confirms what I was saying back in the day. Whitney and Phoebe from Friends are interchangeable people. BUT then again I've never seen them together......hmmm......

I love the chickens.
We got 1 solitary egg today. I talked to the hens about it; they laughed when we were talking about Mr. Rooster fertilizing the eggs. Ha! They said he was really just there for show and they had no plans for chicks and families. So with them saying that...I'm fine.
It's beautiful here. I've missed it so.

WHAT A CRAPPY DAY. It started out bad, went to worse, and then it just ended. Thank God. I could go into detail but I'll spare you cause it would be mostly cussing. BUT....to change the focus of my day, I reminded myself that I sent Carlie a message the other night when I had THE most amazing revelation. Whitney Caroline is Phoebe from friends. It is so. Carlie agrees. It is more and more clear EVERYDAY.

Picture Whitney doing ANY of the following.....
1. When Phoebe is mediating the fight between the chick and the duck
2. When Phoebe makes the lady apologize to the tree for putting her cigarette out on it
3. When Phoebe tries on the bridal veil with regular clothes and says...."this totally goes" (Whitney actually did that!)
4. When Phoebe called them as the pigeon and apologized for scaring the pretty lady
