I love a crawfish boil...

As long as there are hamburgers on the side.

The update on my dentist appointment. They found nothing wrong. Yay. The other side of that, the area where they says there's nothing wrong still hurts. Annoying. Now I turn my focus to sinuses and hope some meds clear it up. I still have to have a crown put on a cracked tooth so there is more dentistry in my future. I'll be calling for an appointment later today. I'm already in the zone of making and hating the appointment.

This past weekend was full of family and fun starting with a crawfish boil/hamburger supper Friday, William's three year old birthday party on Saturday and a grown up birthday dinner for Lauren Saturday night. We are in the height of our birthday season people. The majority of our Birthdays are in the months of February until May with the number being in the 20's. I'll not speculate anymore than that for fear of forgetting one or three. But you get my point.

Enough about me though, lets get to the weekend and the photos.
Supper from the south.
This represents the two kinds of supper. One is better than the other. In some opinions.
Hawaiian with some extra PUNCH!
Jimmy James with Carrie.
And with Gee.
Lukie Lou came to town with his parents.
Adorbs.
Supper seems to be ready.
And it's on the way to the tables.
That's pert near a lobster!
Snuggling with Mom.

I think he's happy to be in Monroe.
Yeppers.
Awww...
William wearing all his birthday presents.
Car Car with James holding one of his brother's bday presents.
Now it's supper time!

One for posterity.
John wasn't banned from the other table, he preferred the less spicy.
Lukie Lou and the dad plus checking out the perimeter.
One more.
Speaks for itself.
Super William seemed as if to leave the ground.
He was happy with all his gifts.
There are multi cape photos so get ready.

Classic trying to see the back of your shirt turn around.
He couldn't do it that way...
Smart kid.
Then he wanted Beba to try to on.
Multi of James.

Cutie pie.
James and Lucas decided to play in the birdbath.
A couple more pics of the gifts.
Gotta show off the back.
James trying on a bday present..

That snuggle.
And a ride on a very tolerant Maisy.
Til it was time to go to bed.
Part one of a two part post about the weekend is in the books. It was a great weekend. We need more of those.

That Friday night something happened to alter the next day's birthday party. What could it have been? It's like a mini cliff hanger, so come back to see what it was. Hint: It's not really earth shattering. So no worries.

The most important thing I can think of at this very moment is I have only 12 more days of school before summer vacay! Super excited about that!

In the meantime I have some ideas about the vacay that include taking the popcorn off my den ceiling. Super serious about it. And while I love home improvement, I hate the process so much. I need for it to begin and end in 15 seconds flat and I don't think that's gonna happen with this project. I'll have to document it for the blog.

Now that I have nothing left to say, I'm going to bed. It's 1:42 in the morning and I have to go find out of my bed is still soft and cushy.

How can it not be?

This and that and some randoms and the dentist

I can't even begin to tell you the nightmare that has now become iPhoto. A few days ago I innocently updated my computer. No biggie. I love an update because it makes me think I'm up to date.

Well when I was trying to complete my seven day...post every day challenge...I'd already uploaded many of the photos I was using. But, I always find holes that have to be filled which makes me have to go back and look for more photos. Well, since the update, oy vey. Used to, when I went looking for a photo, I was able to look through albums, named by me and it was easy to find the picture I was looking for. NOW, imagine if you will, a big pot, with all the photos in the pot. And my albums are gone. The pictures aren't gone, but the albums are. It's so bad. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack, or looking for a photo in a huge pot that has over 20,000 in it. I hate it. And I've decided as I continue to upload photos, if I get used to the new method, and end up liking it, I will still hate it. And will hate myself for not hating it as much as I thought I would at first.

But for now....I hate it.

Change is terrible.

On a lighter note, the weekend full of birthday celebrating was super fun and many photos were taken of the events of the weekend. I now have to pick and choose between the 150 plus photos so as not to overdo the posting. I hope to have some completed in the next few days.

In very exciting news, only 14 more school days for me! Then summer flies in and out in 20 minutes. During that 20 minutes there'll be a road trip up north and hopefully road trips west. I'll let you know how it goes.

Here's the one thing that happened when iPhoto changed. When I was searching through the huge pot of pics, I saw many I haven't seen in forever, or ever in some cases. So how did the never before seen pictures get into my photos? No ideas about it.

It's been so long since I've done a random photos post, I'm putting off the bday weekend for one. I'm going down memory lane quite a lot of years for some. But I hate the reason for how I was able to find the random pictures. Don't forget that.

Lets get to it.
The obvious...huh? A wispy haired Carlie.
This throws back to the girls' high school basketball games.
I love this picture.
Adorable Olivia Grace in our backyard.
Bunny ears.
More bunny ears.
I'm sensing a theme.
"Ma, enough with the bunny ears."
Not yet though.
Still more bunny ears.
It's as if they don't know.
She seems fine with it.
I detect a little, "Really? Still with the bunny ears?" In his eyes.
All over the state bunny ears were the rage!
Easter morning was a success...and with the bunny ears.
Ears here....ears there....
Ears were...
Everywhere!
The last of the ears til next Easter.
Remember this at the beach?

New Orleans last June.
Ila living large playing dress up.
It's April 29th and the temp is 55 outside. I think that's too cold.

I have another dentist appointment in the morning at 8:00 because I have a tooth bothering me. From the minute I made the appointment until it's over I will hate it. If they give me bad news, I will hate that more. It gives me so much stress to go to the doctor or the dentist. I want it to be over!

I have to go to bed so I can lay there and not sleep and think about going to the dentist, until I drift off for seven seconds and then wake up and remember I'm going to the dentist and then start the process all over again. I expect to sleep 45 seconds.

So I better go get started.

I'm out like all the good teeth in my head.
