Thanksgiving 2015 Part 2

Started this yesterday. Finished it today. It's been really busy. And that's for real.

It's the day before Thanksgiving and all through the house......wait. Wrong holiday.

We are off to eat pizza at Grandma's and then pies still have to be made and a few other odds and ends as well. In the meantime I'm posting some random shots of last year's day of thanks, because after the picture taking and the eating, all people settle in for naps, desserts, football and cleaning up. It's a mixed bag for sure.

Lets see what people did.
Beebs watched William play a game on her phone.
Not sure what Lucas was up to here.
But he wasn't finished eating.
And it was tongue licking good.
Still was.
Cutie.
Maybe hide and seek?
A wise acre got my camera and had a hay day for some amount of time. Have a look.

Those aren't even special Thanksgiving socks. What a waste.
Later that night....it was gingerbread house making time. This is a tradition that began with our cousin Connie and Whitney. All people meet in the kitchen for happiness, harmony and house construction. It's lots of fun.
And it's tons more fun with little kids involved.
Maggie's making ice cream cone Christmas trees.
Candy and joy.
A little eating also happens as noted with that smudge of green at the corner of this mouth.

Lucas looked enthralled with the process.
You looking at me?
The tree making area and decorating spot.

I think the kids and the adults had a ton of fun.

James finally joined the group!

Their faces make me happy.

I think a gumdrop just went missing.
I suspect James was doing some quality control testing on the candy.
The mouth does not lie.
Finished product.

There are always many spectators and helpers.
Shameless Mollie. Shameless.

That tree looks really like its lights are on.
Last year's offering was fab. Now on to this year.
The day after Thanksgiving we go get our Christmas trees and begin getting ready for the next holiday. A photo shoot was needed with these cuties in their Christmas PJ's.

That's what last year's Thanksgiving looked like! Now on to see how this year plays out. I'll let you know. But maybe not til next year. Wink wink. But I'm really not kidding.

Happy turkey day to all and to all a goodnight.

I keep doing that....
