More birthday party pics

Here are some excellent photos taken by Carlie and Melanie at William's birthday party. It was a fun first affair for the wee tot attended by about 28 ish people. William's got quite the following. The decorations were cute and the weather was beautiful and the cake was delish. I know the birthday boy thought so.

Scroll down and see.

Self explanatory.
Super cute and delicious cake.
William's personal cake.
Cutie pie close up.
He's a multi tooth kid now.
And shows them off proudly. Squeezable!!
There's just nothing more to say about his cuteness. Such a great pic taken by Carlie.
"Don't have time for kisses Ma I'm looking at my hand!"
Super cute pic of Gee and the Will.
"Yes that's right. I'm one year old." The child is a freaking genius!
And now for the main event. He seemed as if he was saying, "What's happening?"
At first he took it slow.
And seemed unsure of the texture.
But he was willing to give it a go.
Hmmmmm...said in William's way of saying it.
Pretty sure he was down with it.
And not one person fought for a piece or even a bite.
The fam with the Beedge.
And there you have it. It was a good first.

And now I'm off to work and not the least bit happy about it.

The weekend is almost here!!

Partay with the Willie boy tonight.

Later dudes.

Snips and snails and puppy dog tails...

To William on his first birthday:

As always I can't believe time's passed so quickly and you're already one year old. And it's been a fun one full of first times again...I've missed them. Smiles, rolling over, Corsicana,  sitting up, crawling, words, steps. We've been there through them all (some on video) as your parents celebrated, and we've loved it as if it were the most important thing in life. And that's as it should be. Because a child deserves to be loved and cheered from the moment he arrives. And I promise you, your family will always be your biggest fans and loudest cheerers. You don't know it yet, but you received your biggest and best blessing when you were chosen for your parents, grandparents, great grandparents and on down the line of this big, wild and wacky family you were born into. How good did God do for you and us?! You've brought so much light and life and joy to everyone.

I can't explain how much you are loved.

But one day you will see it and know.

Happy first birthday William

You're the jackpot of babies!

Here's to the longest and healthiest and happiest and most prosperous and loving life there ever was or could be.

The Becky years

Many years ago I scanned all of our old "back in the day" Walker family photos. I have many photos of many people and I've just been waiting to use some of them when I deemed it time.

It's time.

Guess who?

This is Becky right after she finished filming The Sound of Music.
This is Becky after she won the role of Kitten in Father Knows Best. Only older people will get that joke.
Becky as a school student at Our Lady of Fatima.
This is Becky as she's rebuilding a small motor in the carport?
Becky, third from the right, on her opening night of A Chorus Line.
This is Becky in the bottom row second from the left on her opening night of Swan Lake.
Becky on the top row second from right on her opening night of Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B.
Becky in her reprisal of Swan Lake. OK, it's a second shot of the other pic that's in the wrong spot but I didn't want to move it.
Becky before she hit the road with Guys and Dolls.
Becky at the Olympic trials.
Becky right before her amazing role in Heidi. That's Big Frank behind her and Dale yawning beside her.
Becky after her successful Olympic trials.
Becky the girl scout.
Becky, after her broadway years, posing with Melanie.
Becky's new head shots before her unsuccessful Broadway comeback.
Becky getting back to being a normal student when Broadway didn't call back.
The high school years.
The college years.
The "painted picture to make it look like a portrait" years. She actually made the coat she's wearing and still has it. I was supposed to bring it home! Anyway, it was still super cute and had a dress with it that she also made. Showoff.

And there you have it. Who knew she covered so much ground as a wee one?

Anyway, I have many more posts to post but it doesn't post itself and I'm so not into blogging when I can play candy crush. Also, before Christmas our dishwasher broke and then two weeks ago our hot water heater went out and last night our microwave went belly up. And the ironic thing is, I just bought a big box of microwave popcorn yesterday! It's so fun.

Oh, and when I went back for my driver's license last week I was in and out in 10 minutes. So I'm still living the American dream without fear of deportation. Yay me.

Now I have to go see if it's a snoring night for John.

Over and out and under the covers.
